BelVedere is a 54-home urban courtyard housing project located on an entire city block in the historic Huning Highlands, railroad era neighborhood.
Courtyard housing is a building type with a rich history in Mediterranean and California lifestyle communities. It enjoys a similar pedigree in New Mexico from the ancient Anasazi through the first half of the twentieth century. Courtyard living offers comfort and has been highly successful where protections from hot, dry climates are needed.

BelVedere contains seven distinct floorplans ranging from urban lofts to three bedroom family units. Even though the complex is gated and protected, elevated front doors face the neighborhood around the entire perimeter. Commercial spaces open onto Broadway Avenue (a main Albuquerque arterial) with additional residential lofts above. Spectacular courtyard views incorporate grand vistas of the Sandia Mountains and the downtown skyline - confirming that BelVedere truly means “great view.”
